Kelly Betteridge
Kelly is a passionate L&D expert known for driving people and organisational growth. At Newland Partners, she crafts tailored learning solutions that boost engagement and performance, she brings sharp insight and a future-focused approach to development.
With a background in Business Management, Kelly began her career in financial services before moving into learning and development, where she found her passion for helping others grow. She has led programmes that build leadership capability, with a strong focus on developing coaching skills across all levels.
Kelly holds a CIPD Associate Diploma in Organisational Learning and Development and is an Accredited Insights Discovery™ Practitioner. An experienced coach and mentor, she supports individuals through change by combining diagnostic tools with practical frameworks to build clarity, confidence, and capability.
Wil Payne
With over 20 years leadership experience in private, public, and charitable sectors, Wil has honed the art of unlocking potential in people, performance and culture. His insight-driven approach has helped to transform individuals and teams from the classroom to boardroom.
Wil originally honed his coaching skills in outdoor education where he helped disadvantaged young people achieve positve life outcomes for themselves. Later in his career he held a number of Director roles in organisation's navigating significant change where ground up development of a coaching culture was critical to success and maintaining employee engagement.
On the journey, Wil has attained a number of coaching qualifications including in NLP, Transactional Analysis, Leadersip and Management, and psychometric profiling such as MBTI and Insights Discovery.

Who is this training for?
This session is ideal for people managers, team leaders, aspiring leaders, and HR or L&D professionals who want to strengthen their coaching mindset, improve how they delegate, and support others to grow and take ownership.
What will I takeaway from the session?
You’ll leave with practical tools, coaching frameworks, and confidence to: Coach in a way that drives ownership and learning; delegate without micromanaging; develop people through intentional conversations; and build trust and accountability in your team. All participants also receive a 121 following the session to support with the embedding of the learning.
What's the format of the session?
It’s a 1-day, interactive training session delivered in-person. Expect a mix of short focused inputs, practical exercises, small group work, reflection and peer coaching. It’s designed to be high-energy, collaborative, and directly applicable to your day-to-day work.
How much does it cost to attend?
The full-day session is £250 per person (excluding VAT.) This includes all materials, access to resources, any post-session follow-up content, and lunch for the day.
Can I book for multiple people or a team?
Absolutely. If you’d like to register more than one person or book a private session for your team, please get in touch directly and email Kelly.Betteridge@NewlandPartners.co.uk — we’re happy to discuss group rates or bespoke delivery options.
What if I sign up but can’t attend?
We understand things come up! You can either transfer your place to a colleague, or get in touch as soon as possible to discuss further alternatives.

Payment is required before the session to secure your place. We’ll send an invoice with all the details you need. If your organisation is covering the fee, we’re happy to invoice them directly too.
